Why did you start breeding?
Breeding is an incredibly fulfilling endeavor, I approach it a with a deep sense of responsibility, ethical standards, and a genuine love for the dogs. . From whelping and welcoming them, marveling at their colors, watching personalities evolve- loving every minute in spite of the work. And seeing the smiles on the new families faces when they put that puppy in their arms for the first time.What makes your program special?
As above, sense of responsibility, ethical standards, honesty and genuine love for the dogs and the satisfaction when they get to go home with a new family. I love to be available to counsel about training in all aspects snd to rejoice with the owners when goals are achieved.What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include apricot, black, red, parti, and phantom. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
Getting a puppy from Karen
Karen has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.
Karen partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 6 weeks old.
“We take great care in placing our puppies with the right family. Puppies are matched once they they are old enough to evaluate their temperament -usually around 6-8 weeks”

“The price includes deworming, initial vaccination, vet health visit, 1 year guarantee, AKC registration certificate for our miniature poodles and preregistered microchip. Deposit holds specific puppy for buyer once buyer has identified which puppy they prefer. Puppy personalities are considered when placing puppies in their environment once buyers are interviewed.”

Marshy is a good looking, nicely colored boy who loves to please. He has been through some agility training and loved it. He has a CGC (canine good citizen) title and also a trick dog title. He learns fast and loves to sit next to me on the couch.
Parent health testing
Good level

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
Vet Wellness Exam
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
DNA Disease Panel, Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
