I'm Kelly C., the breeder behind Kel's Tails Poodles & Doodles located in Arlington, TX. We raise and deliver Poodle & Goldendoodle puppies across the US. We are now located in Arlington, TX but have guardian partners in Louisiana.

Why did you start breeding?
We just wanted one litter of puppies. We had our first litter on the night of our wedding anniversary! We fell in love with the miracle of new puppy life and kept going. We begin doing countless hours of research, asking questions, experimenting with different ideas and setups. We are constantly learning new things but are excited about how far we have come in our knowledge and experience.What makes your program special?
Our dogs, of course, is what makes our program special! We believe we have some of the best fur babies and produce amazing puppies. We put a lot of time in with our puppies and the families they will be going with. We have worked with many trainers and families that have used our puppies in various lines of service work and therapy. We have a couple verified seizure alert dogs as well.What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our Poodle puppies are standard size. Goldendoodle puppies include miniature, medium, and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our Poodle puppies include apricot, black, blue, brown, cafe au lait, cream, silver-beige, white, and parti. Goldendoodle puppies include cream, apricot, red, chocolate, and parti. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and guardian homes.

From our line of Poodles with Porsha x Papi, this boy did not disappoint with his amazing temperament. He lives with a guardian in West Monroe, LA where he works as a therapy dog for people suffering emotional trauma. He will be available for stud service at the end of 2023 pending his health testing, which should all be clear since the parents are owned by myself and health screened with some OFA and Embark testing. He is a white cream parti.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (rDVM, not registered with OFA), Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
Thyroid (Autoimmune Thyroiditis, registered with OFA)
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
