I'm Pam B., the breeder behind Kernow Goldens located in Manchester Center, VT. Kernow Golden are AKC registered with all their clearances. They are fed a raw, fresh food diet and we have eliminated the use of toxic chemicals in, on, or around our dogs. We have a very minimal vaccine protocol and are patients of Dr. Jeff Feinman, a holistic vet. Our dogs live with us at home and enjoy a walk, swimming, tracking, obedience, and conformation.
Q. & A. with Pam
Why did you start breeding?
Phoebe, my foundation female, came to me with a 3-page contract telling me what I needed to do. We went to AKC and CKC events. She was the pick of the litter and the breeder told me to bred her and helped to find a stud. Phoebe's puppies were beautiful and I enjoyed the responsibility of raising healthy with great temperaments.
What makes your program special?
I want to make sure my dogs and puppies are the healthiest and that their temperament is the best. I pride myself with feeding my dogs the best possible food and make sure it is well balanced in nutrient. I consult Dr. Jeff Feinman for all medical and nutrition aspects of my dogs lives. Socialization is key and making sure that the puppies experience as much as I can offer.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
