I'm Terri D., the breeder behind Kickinauss Minis located in Minden, NV. I am driven by the desire to create the best Mini American Shepherd I possibly can. Our Dogs are family dogs raised with grandchildren and the outdoors. A pond for swimming in the front yard, acres to run on, mountain hikes, agility courses to grow up on and little rodents to chase. Our goal is to produce not only the best temperaments but healthy beautiful puppies. Your choice is what we have: Conformation (show), Performance (agility, obedience, dock diving, etc) or just cuddling on the couch. Be sure and ask about our special way we raise these babies, from ENS to our puppy enhancement programs or kindergarten producing bombproof puppies.

Why did you start breeding?
I felt like I found the perfect all-around dog and wanted to improve it.What makes your program special?
I have seen dogs as a trainer, breeder, puppy buyer and I realized those few weeks from birth to going to a new home are critical. I employ several sensitivity programs from birth on. I blend several puppy school trainings to create my own kindergarten I also make sure my puppies are litter box trained, doggie door and crate trained.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are black tri. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and guardian homes.

"Unless show/breed my puppies prices are $2700 Occasionally they will be less if available. . Name Address Email Phone number Please check the things below if you agree In order for your $250 non- refundable reservation fee to be accepted, please agree to the following terms. 1. I understand and agree that $250 deposit is non refundable. I am not guaranteed my puppy or gender of choice: however , I understand that I can continue to defer my place in line and add myself to future reservation lists until I get the puppy I want and / or need. Also please understand nature does what she wants. She does not have a menu where you can pick the main dish and then add the desired side dishes. Lol 2. I also understand that the timing of the litters is uncontrolled, as well as successful pregnancy. We are not able to control the timing of heat cycles. We also have the right to cancel a reservation due to the best interest of the parents involved , ( as health of our dogs always comes first) If this happens you will be given other options. Heat cycles and timing is not guaranteed. 3. I understand that the reservation list order is followed . 4. When a deposit is paid, you are on all lists unless you have chosen a particular couple and their litter. 5. I understand that although these puppies are the best representation Of their breed in structure , and temperament, that it will be sold without breeding rights. Merida is a very sweet, gentle natured girl. She loves to run on the ranch but comes immediately when I whistle she gets along with everybody. She's a good mom. She has pretty babies. She's what we call mahogany. It's rather rare. It's a red color so she is a red Tri. She's also a very much of a Velcro girl right beside her people.

Sugar matches her name. Sweet but can be a pistol have fun running on the trails and swimming . She is an excellent mom cleaning her babies constantly and checking on them for every little cry. She loves her people owners. She was born at my house grew up there and then off to the show circuit .. when she was a finished champion she came home to have fun on the ranch. Then some previous puppy owners wanted a companion for their first puppy from me and I Let her go live with them. Such a perfect home. Sugar has a clear DNA panel and OFAs and certified eyes..

BB is such a loyal sweet boy. He just wants to please his people. He has run of our 100 acre ranch and you will find him swimming in the pond in front of the house or asking to come inside to be a Velcro dog. He loves to hike or do agility . He has titles in Barn Hunt, Herding and several in Scent work. He is working on his geese title now and more advanced scent work. We are working on his Rally titles . He hikes off leash and has instant recall. He leans against you as you pet him closing his eyes in total joy. I love this boy . He has his Champion conformation title, clear DNA panel, Good OFAs, and certified eyes.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
Brucellosis
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
Neuroaxonal Dystrophy NAD, Multiple Drug Sensitivity (MDR1), Hereditary (Juvenile) Cataracts (HC; JC), Collie Eye Anomaly (CEA), Cone Degeneration, Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A), Neuronal Ceroid Lipofuscinosis 6 (NCL 6), PRA, Rod-Cone Degeneration (PRA-prcd)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
