I'm Monica h., the breeder behind Killing Joke Kennels located in Stilwell, OK. Our program is dedicated to the performance, handling, and breeding of dogs that we have found to be exemplary representations of the original standard phenotype, health, and temperament of the cane corso breed. We pride ourselves in providing families with a robust puppy package they will find rare and all breeding dogs are OFA and/or PennHip health tested.

Why did you start breeding?
We wanted to create a breeder experience we could not find. We have welcomed many corsos over the years, many in the early years being products of unethical breeding practices which showed in their health and early rainbow crossings. This experience over the years is what has encouraged us to offer a more thorough, ethical approach to breeding with in depth health testing & temperament standards.What makes your program special?
We designed our puppy packages to reflect what we would have liked to see when we were first in the market for a cane corso many years ago. Our packages boast a robust arrangement of exclusive offers, prerequisite health testing, puppy socialization/training program, transparency, communication, and support that clients will be hard-pressed to find.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include gray and fawn, chestnut brindle, black, black brindle, fawn, gray, and gray brindle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Getting a puppy from Monica
Monica has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
"$3600 (1st and 2nd pick of the litter) $3250 (3rd pick of the litter onward). We offer a $250 discount for military, veterinary, and first responder careers. The deposit includes a fee charged by Gooddog to utilize their service. Ask breeder for other options. $500 is applied to the puppy balance and holds your pick of the litter until 8+ weeks."

Monica may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
Canine Multifocal Retinopathy (cmr3; BEST1 Exon 10 SNP), Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
