I'm Jana K., the breeder behind King’s Miniature Schnauzers located in Winter Springs, FL. Our dogs are part of our family. They enjoy showing in conformation and we love sharing our lives with them and their puppies. Puppies are raised in our home with the love of our whole family. They are well socialized with people and dogs, and are prepared for a smooth transition into their new home.
Q. & A. with Jana
Why did you start breeding?
I love beautiful dogs. I enjoy caring for them and keeping them in condition for shows. We are very passionate about dogs and responsible breeding practices. We will always help families find their puppies from responsible and ethical sources, no matter what breed they are looking for. Our goal is to help build a better and safer world for not only our dog, but all dogs.
What makes your program special?
We love our dogs and this breed! We carefully maintain ethical breeding practices. This includes proper health testing and intentional breeding for specific traits. Our puppies are raised with lots of love and socialization. We will be a resource for any puppy we sell, for it's entire life. Most importantly, we will take back any dog we breed for the remainder of it's life with no questions asked.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are salt and pepper. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

King’s Miniature Schnauzers reports to performing the health tests below on their breeding dogs. Ask your breeder about the tests performed on the parents of your litter. Learn more about health testing for Miniature Schnauzers.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
Health testing is one key piece of responsible breeding and is performed on breeding dogs to prevent the presence of heritable conditions in their puppies.
