Q. & A. with Carol
Why did you start breeding?
We had a friend growing up that bred and when my son on the Autism Spectrum wanted to show a dog, I decided it was a great way to help him with his social skills. After spending time visiting with other breeders in the show ring and our girl Championed, we decided to have a litter. That started our journey into the Havanese breeding world to provide these beautiful dogs to others.
What makes your program special?
I birth them in my front room where I sleep next to them for a week. They all receive Neurological Stimulation to enhance their natural traits and prepare them should someone want a Therapy dog. When they are walking well, I move them into my Kitchen so they are involved in daily life with my family. I spent great amounts of money and time to provide a well-socialized, healthy, well-bred dog.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include chocolate and red brindle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
