Q. & A. with Lesley
Why did you start breeding?
Purposeful and ethical breeding is so important for the healthy progression of the German Shepherd. As a Veterinarian, I know the importance of responsible breeding practices, and I strive to always operate ethically and with my dogs' health and temperament of utmost importance. It's an amazing feeling knowing that I made a positive contribution to these dogs and the families who love them!
What makes your program special?
I am a premier, home-based breeder of top-quality German Shepherds. I do not breed my dogs unless they are fully healthy, first and foremost. I also look for great temperaments, magnificent pedigree and workability, and phenomenal representations of the breed standard. Each and every one of my puppies is lovingly hand-raised by me. I strive for quality and excellence with everything that I do. Holding myself to high standards is paramount to the well-being of my dogs and to the integrity of my program!
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Abby, mom
German Shepherd
About Abby
Abby is an amazing girl. She is medium drive with the best "off" button I've ever seen. Her pedigree is amazing and is my dream pedigree! Half DDR and half Czech, she exhibits the traits of the old East German border patrol dogs - she is a serious dog with a stellar work ethic. There is no "goofy" about her, yet she's affectionate and sociable. Super easy to train.
