I'm Cassandra K., the breeder behind Klenke Toy Aussies located in Syracuse, IN. I proudly stand behind my babes. I believe my program to be truly valuable to others in the Toy Aussie world. Correct structure, disease panel clear, outstanding minds and all in small Australian Shepherd form. We love our Toy Aussies, Floof Yeah!!!!!

  • Why did you start breeding?

    Through mentors in SD who have been Toy Aussie devoted for decades. I associated myself with the most knowledgeable and best breeders to ensure that my lines are desirable and true to Toy Aussie breed standards.

  • What makes your program special?

    Each of my pups is a unicorn in their own unique ways with brains, beauty and personality. While I cannot guarantee exact size at maturity, my lines produce majority toy sized, under 14" at shoulder. These pups are my kids first and I am committed to each one and their amazing families for life.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include black tri, blue merle, red merle, and red tri. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home and guardian homes.

Getting a puppy from Cassandra

    Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.

  • Collie Eye Anomaly (CEA), Hereditary (Juvenile) Cataracts (HC; JC), Hyperuricosuria (HUU), Hereditary (Juvenile) Cataracts (HC; JC), Australian Shepherd Type, Neuronal Ceroid Lipofuscinosis 6 (NCL 6), PawPrint Genetic Panel (Breed Specific), Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A), Multiple Drug Sensitivity (MDR1), PRA, Rod-Cone Degeneration (PRA-prcd)

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

    I was looking for a new pup for a long time but just didn't know that my pup would find me. I found this app by accident and it was the best thing that ever happened to me. As soon as I saw Siggy's face I just knew she was meant for me :) Working wirh Cassandra was a DREAM. She cares SO much about her pups and the people she places them with even going so far as to check in with me for a few months after I took Siggy home. I didn't even change her name :) The love and care Cassandra gives these pups is evident in their de demeanor. Siggy is SO sweet and sassy and SO incredibly smart!. Not to mention when I take her for walks everyone stops and comments on what a cutie she is. She is an absolute love and I honestly don't know what I would do without her. Cassandra is an AWESOME person to work with friendly, kind and funny and she really considers her pups her kids. If I could take another one from her I would. Don't hesitate! Grab up one of her pups you won't be disappointed it will be the best decision of your life.     We had the most wonderful experience in getting our baby, Ziva! We picked her up in June of 2022 and Ziva turned 2 in April 2024. Cassandra is so caring and professional and loves all of her fur babies fiercely. We will hopefully be getting more toy Aussie babies from her in the future. All puppies are drop dead gorgeous and our Ziva is so well mannered and extremely smart. We could not have been happier with our decision to be a part of the Klenke Toy Aussie family!     Cassandra is a wonderful person to work with when finding your perfect puppy. She asked a lot of questions to ensure we got the best match. We adopted shy Willow in 2021. She is an amazing dog and is very smart. When Willow needed a playmate, we never hesitated to reach out to Cassandra again to find her best friend. We adopted Ozzy September of 2024. Turns out, our dogs are full on siblings but couldn’t be more different. We wanted an outgoing, goofy dog and boy, did she deliver! lol Highly recommend!

    Cassandra was great to work with! She was very responsive and answered all my questions.     I found my first Klenke Toy Aussie puppy on Good Dog. Cassandra (Klenke Toy Aussies) and I hit it off immediately. We chatted about the breed extensively and we really connected. She sent pictures, described Finn's personality, which was very accurate. When I went to pick Finn up, I was able to meet his siblings and parents. All were well adjusted, living indoors and handled by Cassandra and her children daily. I have been so happy with this breeder that I not only got one of her puppies, I went back two more times for a total of three of her puppies over the past few years, Finn, Artemis & the baby Persephone (Percy). Exceptional breeder with high standards and great pups.
