I'm Makenna B., the breeder behind Knightsbane Standard Poodles located in Pasadena, TX. Parents are genetic health tested with X-rays and OFA. They come with a 2 year genetic health guarantee. Vet check up with first shots done at 6 weeks. Puppies are litter box trained on puppy pads and alfalfa pellets. All puppies have a goodie bag to help get them started in their new homes.

Why did you start breeding?
My first dog Ella started it all. She became the mom to so many service and therapy dogs who save lives to this day.
What makes your program special?
My puppies have all become wonderful family dogs who are good with children, other dogs, and learn commands fast.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our Goldendoodle puppies are standard size. Poodle puppies are standard size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our Goldendoodle puppies include cream, apricot, and red. Poodle puppies include apricot, black, brown, and red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and guardian homes.

Puppy prices include a $300 non-refundable deposit and between $1,200 - $1,700 final payment, before taxes & fees.
“My puppies are $1500. They will have vet check up with first shots, all deworming done, litter box trained, and go home with a puppy bag of goodies to get them started. Deposits are non refundable, but can be transferred to next or upcoming litter.”

Hip Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Ichthyosis, Golden Retriever Type
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
