I'm Kathy D., the breeder behind KnockDown Bulldogs located in Harrisburg, PA. We value responsible breeding practices and want to do our part to ensure the Bulldog will continue to thrive.
We built our program with care and intention in every step. We are passionate about the health and wellbeing of this breed, and it is our goal to provide each dog that comes from our program with a solid foundation of good health, neurological development, and loving care.
Q. & A. with Kathy
What makes your program special?
Health and confirmation are the most important aspects of my breeding program. I neither breed for "rare" colors that do not meet the AKC standard nor do I set prices based upon color.
After doing rescue for several years, the last thing I want is for any of my puppies to end up in rescue. For that reason, I will take a puppy back free of charge if a puppy home is no longer able to provide a home
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our French Bulldog puppies include brindle, cream, and fawn. Bulldog puppies include red, fawn, brindle, red brindle and white, and red and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and guardian homes.

Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)

Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Tracheal Hypoplasia
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
