Meet the breeder

I'm Clay K., the breeder behind Konas Kennels located in Griffin, GA. Konas Kennels started with our lone Giant Schnauzer, Scout. She immediately sold us whole-heartedly on Giants being the absolute bestest pups out there. We are dedicated in providing all of our clients with the best Giant Schnauzer puppies with our satisfaction guarantee!

Q. & A. with Clay

  • Why did you start breeding?

I was introduced to breeding through a good friend & mentor of mine. We were looking for a working/protection-type/hypoallergenic dog for our family. He introduced us to Giant Schnauzers- for he believed a Giant would be a great fit for our family and needs. We were impressed immediately. We now want to spread our love and admiration of Giants to as many families as possible!
  • What makes your program special?

I would say it is the love, time, and hands-on approach we give. We are very particular with whom we breed our Scout to. The line is impecable, and we are doing everything we can to keep it that way. We are not a "puppy factory". Our dam's health is the utmost priority. Improving the breed and keeping our line(s) of the highest quality is what we strive for. Your satisfaction is our guarantee.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies are black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
