I'm Janet K., the breeder behind Konrad Ranch located in Auburn, CA. Dogs bred for a long healthy life as well-behaved members of loving families. We breed dogs that we would want to add to our family. Parent dogs are active family members, chosen for their amiable and fun-loving temperament and trainability. Before breeding, dams are screened for good health and genetics. We work with the puppies from birth to ensure good behaviors that will be a solid foundation for a proper relationship with their humans as they mature. By the time puppies are ready for their new homes they have been wormed; begun their immunization program; are accustomed to frequent handling, grooming, and bathing; and are usually paper-trained.
