Q. & A. with Becky
Why did you start breeding?
I fell in love with the golden retriever breed when my husband and I adopted a one year old golden named Archie. She was something special. Always eager to please, smart, and fun. After Archie was gone, I talked about breeding dogs, and I couldn't think of a better breed to do that with than the Golden.
What makes your program special?
Our dogs are all health tested for hips, elbows, heart, and eyes, as well as DNA testing to check for congenital health problems. They are well socialized. Our dogs are part of our family and puppies are raised in our home. We participate in the local Love on a Leash program ond compete in obedience trials.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are dark golden. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
