Q. & A. with Megan

  • Why did you start breeding?

Getting into breeding sort of happened by accident as I had a service dog that was riddled with health issues and the VA wasn’t helpful in obtaining another. I purchased a pup through a reputable breeder and fell in love with my first puppy, began to research, then talked my ideas over with my husband and the breeder. I was mentored then purchased my first breeding pair, and that’s how it went.
  • What makes your program special?

Our dedication is to the love of these dogs and to give back to those who really need it. Currently I’m studying in training, akc standards for breeding, and am putting my energy into starting the program to raise all our pups within service dog standards from day one. A good portion of our funds will Also be recycled into our vet program to train and raise a puppy for a vet in need.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies are golden. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
