I'm Dana L., the breeder behind Kytra's Kennels located in Denton, TX. We have been dedicated to breeding happy, healthy English Springer Spaniels for over 25 years. Our philosophy is to breed quality over quantity. Our Spaniels are our family members, and we are thrilled to share them with you. After all, life just isn't complete without an English Springer Spaniel!
Q. & A. with Dana
Why did you start breeding?
For more than 25 years, we have been dedicated to breeding happy, healthy English Springer Spaniels. Fifteen years ago, Kytra Kennels teamed up with Studio Springers. Today the Studio/Kytra combination is one in the same. Our philosophy is to breed quality dogs, not quantity. As a result we are proud to say we have owned or bred more than 35 AKC Champions.
What makes your program special?
Our priority is to breed quality dogs rather than quantity. My heavy involvement in the show world speaks to the standards that I breed my dogs by. Finding a quality puppy can be a daunting task. To find the right dog from a reputable breeder will take time and homework on your part. Remember, you are purchasing a member of the family that will hopefully be with you for the next 15 years.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
