I'm Jordyn L., the breeder behind LaFarm Doodles located in Viola, ID. Our primary focus is to produce family dogs; we want them to be the perfect pet for a growing family. Eager to learn and please, affectionate, gentle, calm, intelligent, and of course with some character! We prepare all of our pups to excel in life with our training program and being raised in home.
Q. & A. with Jordyn
Why did you start breeding?
Both my husband and I grew up with families who at one point bred puppies and I just knew that I wanted to do it when I was an adult. So after many years searching for what I wanted to breed, I found aussiedoodles, and a poodle who couldn’t be more perfect for the task. We also had a bad experience buying through a barn breeder, and knew we wanted to make a better option for fellow doodle lovers!
What makes your program special?
Aravis is our female poodle, and she is beyond anything I could have ever asked for in a dog. She arrived at 12 weeks old and never went through a difficult puppy stage, I actually had to set timers to teach her commands because she was just so easy. She then learned to detect my seizures and I just knew that we needed more of her. So here we are! And with her daughters to continue the genetics.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are mini size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include blue merle, red merle, black and white, and red tri-color. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
