I'm Jessica D., the breeder behind Lake Champlain Goldens located in Vermont. Our goldens are valuable members of our family. We compete in AKC obedience, Rally and have been training for agility and hunting trials. We aim to produce happy, healthy and well socialized puppies. They exhibit the “true golden temperament” as well as being highly trainable. Our puppies will have lots of socialization. They will go through a series of test throughout their neonatal stage right up until they become part of your family. We will do early neurologic testing, litter box and crate training and many other test to make sure we do our best to fit the correct puppy into the right home. We follow all AKC and the GRCA Golden Retrievers Club of America) breeding/care guidelines. Our breeding dogs have, but not limited to, passing scores from AKC for *Hips *Elbows *Eyes clearance by a board certified ophthalmologist *Heart clearance board certified cardiologist *DNA Tested for Prcd-PRAa, PRA1, PRA2, DM, NCL and more.

    We are breeding our beloved family dogs, first and foremost. We are making sure we are improving the breed by not only following the guidelines given by our parent club but also taking the time to choose a stud that compliments our girls.

Getting a puppy from Jessica

Jessica has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and $2,700 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“The price includes AKC registration, vet visit with vaccines if necessary, 2 or more deworming and lots of socialization. Puppy will come with a paid AKC registration and Have an AKC reunite Microchip! All puppies will go through neonatal ENS/ESI. They also will have personality testing as they mature. We will be desensitized puppies to noises, obstacles, textures and taking them on car rides etc. ”

Jessica may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.   • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
