I'm Kathryn K., the breeder behind Lake City Labradoodles located in Coeur D'alene, ID. As our children have grown and started families of their own, we have filled our empty nest with fun, lovable Labradoodles. We choose Multi-Gen Australian Labradoodles as they are fantastic, loving companions. They are also allergy and asthma friendly and non-shedding.
Q. & A. with Kathryn
Why did you start breeding?
While traveling, we met the most beautiful puppy with a coat as soft as a bunny and an adorable personality. We were drawn to the Australian Labradoodle because we wanted a good family dog that did not shed and was allergy friendly. Once we came across this Australian Labradoodle, well, we were sold. This breed yearns to please and is a perfect family companion.
What makes your program special?
Our dogs live as pets in our home as opposed to living in kennels. The puppies are provided with early neurological stimulation beginning at just a few days old and we utilize Puppy Culture during their entire stay with us. They enjoy our family routines; playing in their large yard, walks to the beach and interacting with both adults and children who adore them.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies include miniature and medium sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include caramel cream, caramel, caramel red, red, gold, apricot, chocolate, black, and tri-color. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and guardian homes.

When we were inquiring about one of her Puppies (Rosie) Kathryn was extremely responsive and answered all of my questions quickly. We were driving from Gig Harbor, WA and she was very accommodating on a time to meet Rosie and see if she is what we were looking for. Rosie sat when we came in which was surprising for an 11 wk old puppy, We took Rosie home that day and she is so smart and such joy.
