I'm Chrissy, the breeder behind Lake Hartwell Standard Poodles located in Hartwell, GA. Our dogs are bred for temperament, health, structure, and confirmation.. We have matched families with service dogs, ESA, show potential pups, and of course just a pet! We believe having a puppy with the correct temperament is a big factor in each individual household for everyone to strive.

Why did you start breeding?
Being a pet owner, pet groomer, and a huge poodle person… over the years, you can see how they’ve become a popular breed again. Sadly a lot of the breeders raising them are raising low quality, bad temperament, and bad health… We’ve been raising pups since 2014 and have always focused on high quality, amazing temperament, clear health checks, and strong bloodlines… all at affordable prices.What makes your program special?
We work as hard as we can, from day 1 we start our babies on puppy culture & ENS… day 7, we start working on grooming desensitizing… day 21 we start working on litter box training and introduction to toys, day 28.. we start weaning and making the puppies learn… at week 7 they get their temperament test to see who strives best, and where. They are with us until 12 weeks, learning from us, their litter and their mom.What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies include moyen and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include sable, apricot, black, brown, cream, red, white, parti, and phantom. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Puppy prices include a $300 non-refundable deposit and between $1,500 - $7,700 final payment, before taxes & fees.

Crash is a soft hearted, gentle loving boy. He is sensitive and absolutely in love with everyone around him. We didn’t get to raise Crash, he joined our program in summer of 2025 but he quickly warmed up and decided this is where he wants to be! He’s calm, collected, and loves to observe. About Sable
We are so happy to introduce ‘Sable’.. also known as ‘Murphy’s Wild As Her’. Sable is a puppy we kept back in 2023.. I kept telling myself I didn’t need a puppy, I had a 8 month old and a baby on the way. Everytime I would try to list her, I would quickly take her right back off and make her as reserved. I could not make myself let her go! We went through a lot of names with her, but sable just stuck. Sable is sweet, loyal, confident, obedient… She is protective, loving and nurturing. I can’t say enough about her, she truly is one of the most amazing dogs I’ve ever met… by far the most loyal. Her puppies have proved to be phenomenal, everything about her is phenomenal.
