I'm Lynn J., the breeder behind Lake Road Doodles located in Hertford, NC. We are a small breeder of Standard, Medium and Mini Goldendoodles. We raise our pups for family pets, therapy and service . We are a Gold Ribbon Breeder with Goldendoodle Association of North America . located in Hertford NC close to VA and Beach .

  • Why did you start breeding?

    We got into breeding Goldendoodles because we loved both the poodle and Golden and have raised both , with allergies in the family we decided on goldendoodle to minimize the dander . What we got was a wonderful pet . And knew we would never go back ❤️
  • What makes your program special?

    We work hard to condition our puppies for anything the world puts in front of them, no matter the situation if it's lap, therapy or service. We utilize Early Neurological Stimulation and as they grow use Puppy Culture for raising our puppies . Weekly pictures to keep you updated on there develop and temperament ❤️
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include apricot, chocolate, and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Lynn

Puppy prices include a $300 non-refundable deposit and $2,200 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“2500.00. This is a non Refundable deposit I will send out agreement can be transferred to different litter.”

  • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)

    Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

  • Patellar Luxation

    Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.

  • DNA Disease Panel, PawPrint Genetic Panel (Breed Specific), Full Embark Panel, Neuronal Ceroid Lipofuscinosis 5 (NCL5), Golden Retriever Type

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
