I'm Alija E., the breeder behind Lakes Area Golden Retrievers located in Brainerd Lakes Area, MN. We strive to produce outstanding puppies that are structurally sound and healthy, with wonderful temperaments. We breed with the intention of producing great hunting dogs. Our puppies are lovingly raised in our home as part of our family so that we can prepare them to be wonderful additions to yours. We are passionate about Golden Retrievers and look forward to sharing the breed with others who love it just as much as we do!

Our love for Goldens and their ability to be both hunting dogs and family companions inspired us to expand the breed in a responsible way. We truly love our puppies and know you will, too! We pride ourselves on helping all of our clients find the right fit for their needs and lifestyle.What makes your program special?
At Lakes Area Golden Retrievers, we produce excellent companions and hunting prospects. We understand the importance of dog health, temperament, and structure, and every breeding decision is made accordingly. We are also constantly improving our breeding program and work closely within the Golden Retriever community to do so.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and guardian homes.
