I'm Susan C., the breeder behind Lakes Golden Doodles located in Louisburg, NC. We are pet owners first and foremost. All of our puppies are raised as members of our family until they’re ready to join yours. We cherish all of our animals and enjoy sharing the love of this breed with other individuals and families!
Q. & A. with Susan
Why did you start breeding?
This is our first litter of golden doodles. I searched and researched for years before finding my sire, and damn. I have previously bred Morkies. We took a break from breeding and haven’t had puppies in over 8 years. My goal is for each puppy to have a loving forever home and make a positive impact on their family.
What makes your program special?
Our dogs are part of our family. They are socialized daily and gets lots of love and hugs. Our puppies play daily with our family (we have six children age 20 till 5 years old). Our puppies have been raised with two cats. I have genetic testing from embark for mother (damn) and father (sire).
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are standard size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are cream. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
