I'm Lindsey M., the breeder behind Lakeside Summit Springers located in Menahga, MN. Our dogs are bred for health, temperament, structure and companionship. Our girls are OFA tested, embark tested and active in conformation and other forms of dogs sports (such as Dock Dogs, FastCAT, STAR Puppy, Obedience, and soon we will be doing agility and rally as well).

Why did you start breeding?
After heartbreak with our first ESS we decided there had to be breeders who cared more about the breed and breeding dogs with excellent temperaments. We wish to preserve the breed and produce dogs that are as charismatic and enjoyable to be around (as they should be). We could absolutely not imagine our lives without these sweet, goofy, loving, intelligent dogs!What makes your program special?
We care about the dogs we use in our program, they are a part of our family and tested for PRA/PFK. Our puppies are raised in our home and loved beyond measure. We also follow as much of the Puppy Culture Program as time allows.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include liver white and tan, liver and white, black and white, and black white and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Lindsey
Lindsey has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.
Lindsey partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 7 weeks old.
“Puppies will be placed with families according to temperament and lifestyle the puppy will be living, it is of utmost importance to us that we place puppies this way instead of based on looks. A puppy is upwards of a 13 year commitment and we want families to be a good fit for the puppy. ”

“AKC Ltd. Registration, UTD on age appropriate vaccines, socialized, vet checked, raised in our home, and also come with a puppy pack, 30 Day Insurance Policy, as well as a genetic health guarantee. Deposit is NOT refundable under any circumstance. We do require a deposit contract prior to accepting a deposit.”

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Acral Mutilation Syndrome (AMS), Full Embark Panel, Phosphofructokinase Deficiency (PFK), PRA, Rod-Cone Degeneration (PRA-prcd)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
