Why did you start breeding?
LaRoc Onyx Riesinback Kennels is built upon a foundation of love, admiration, and respect for the breed. I wanted to do my part as a responsible breeder and produce healthy, well-rounded puppies that make excellent additions to any family. It is an honor to represent this breed and create opportunities for others to experience the same joy that I've found in raising these wonderful dogs.
What makes your program special?
My dogs are family members first and foremost. I am a passionate, responsible breeder who truly loves my dogs. I raise adorable, affectionate, and versatile puppies, and I strive to give them the best possible start for a life of companionship and love! I enjoy spoiling and pampering my dogs, and I hope that my puppies' new homes will cherish them just as much as I do!

Carolyn has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Puppy prices include a $1,100 non-refundable deposit and between $1,100 - $2,600 final payment, before taxes & fees.
“Pricing varies from Pet quality to show quality with ears cropped. Ear cropping requires addional 4 weeks stay. At time of comfirmed puppy we will require 1/2 down. Non -refundable. Full payment required for ear cropping.”

About Maizey
Maizey is a female Giant Schnauzer. Carefully selected as a great representative of her breed, Carolyn decided to make her part of their program. Carolyn has passed Good Dog’s screening process, which involved a review of their breeding practices, environment, and the mental and physical health of their dogs.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Thyroid (Autoimmune Thyroiditis, registered with OFA)
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
