Q. & A. with Maegan
Why did you start breeding?
I got into breeding when I got my first show dog, Eevee. She is the foundation of Laurelin Goldens and I consider myself extremely lucky to be her partner. Eevee’s offspring will hopefully be my future competition partners for the foreseeable future.
What makes your program special?
I strive to make the best Golden Retrievers that I can make. Each pairing is thoughtfully considered for months or even years in advance. Overall health & longevity, temperament & working ability, and proper structure are of utmost importance to me. I strive to breed Goldens that have the drive and intelligence to do it all with the ability to sleep at my feet when we’re not working.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

About Eevee
Eevee is a high-drive, moderately high energy, eager worker with a can-do attitude! She can go anywhere and do anything I want her to do. She is my constant companion and loyal partner. She is an excellent example of the Golden Retriever breed and I am proud to own her.
Eevee has several points toward her AKC Championship, including a 5-point Specialty major and Best of Opposite Sex in Specialty! She is currently in training for high level AKC Obedience competition. Eevee also LOVES dock diving and lure coursing!
If you can't tell, her puppies will not be couch potatoes! If you are looking for a couch potato Golden, her puppies are not for you.
