Q. & A. with Rebecca

  • Why did you start breeding?

I got my first cockapoo Lady when I was 10 years old and my first standard poodle Daisy in 2003, they were both such wonderful girls with the sweetest temperaments. I want to do my part to produce wonderful, healthy dogs and puppies that bring other people as much joy and love as my two girls brought me, and to provide each of my puppies with loving homes where they can live happy lives.
  • What makes your program special?

What makes our program special is the way our puppies are raised. From birth, they’re part of our family, receiving early neurological stimulation, early potty and crate exposure, sound desensitization, and constant human interaction. We focus on health, temperament, and confidence so each puppy is truly ready for their forever home.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our Poodle puppies include miniature, moyen, and standard sizes. Cockapoo puppies include mini and standard sizes. Goldendoodle puppies include petite and miniature sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our Poodle puppies include sable, apricot, black, blue, brown, cafe au lait, cream, red, silver-beige, parti, phantom, and brindle. Cockapoo puppies include black, black and tan, black and white, black white and tan, brown, brown and tan, brown and white, buff, buff and white, cream, red, red and white, and sable. Goldendoodle puppies include cream, apricot, red, chocolate, black, and parti. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and guardian homes.

Rebecca was a very caring breeder throughout the entire process and was there to answer our questions every step of the way. She made sure to check up on the process and give updates on our pup who is the most wonderful and sweetest little pup. Great breeder for new time and returning dog owners!

We had a truly wonderful experience with Lavender Poodles and Rebecca from start to finish. From the very beginning, communication was clear, supportive, and professional. Rebecca even helped us coordinate a flight nanny to bring our puppy to us, which made the entire process smooth and stress-free. Our puppy, Pearl, arrived happy, confident, and incredibly well adjusted. After she got home, we realized we couldn’t locate the health records Rebecca had sent. We reached out, and she responded immediately and resent everything so we could get Pearl into the vet without delay. That level of responsiveness and care meant a lot to us. Pearl has the sweetest temperament. She took to our standard poodle right away, and they play beautifully together. She’s gentle and submissive, yet also brave, smart, and a little sassy in the best way. She has been wonderful with every person she meets—so affectionate and well socialized. Potty training has been incredibly easy, and it’s clear how intelligent she is. We couldn’t be happier with our experience or our puppy. It’s obvious Rebecca puts so much love, intention, and responsibility into her breeding program. We highly recommend Lavender Poodles to anyone looking for a healthy, well-bred, and beautifully tempered poodle.

We love our new puppy so much, and Rebecca was so amazing to work with! She prepared us so well and it really made the transition to our home go so smoothly. We loved all the photos and info she shared with us about our puppy’s personality and routines before she arrived. And she did a phenomenal job raising our puppy. She is such a good girl and so well trained already — we got her at 5 months old. We are so grateful for the wonderful start to life Rebecca gave her!

Rebecca made this whole process stress free and enjoyable. She answered all my questions and gave me detailed updates on my little fur baby every week. I’ve been singing her praises to anyone and everyone who will listen. We are so in love with our new addition to the family. Rebecca did an amazing job with him and his siblings and we are so grateful to her!

Rebecca is wonderful! We got our precious fur baby on Christmas Eve and Rebecca was more than accommodating in making the holiday season special for our family. Our pup is energetic, lively and such a cuddle bug, fitting right into our family. You can 100% tell these pups are cared for with this breeder. She came with all her paper work, detailed instructions for care and training. Overall, AMAZING experience and would highly recommend.

Rebecca made the adoption process quick and painless. She is very transparent, accommodating, and will set you up for success. I appreciated that because this is my first dog. I was able to arrange a visit and later pick up Dave (aka Paddie) at Rebecca’s home where he was born and raised with ease. Every dog in that home was treated like they were apart of the family. They looked great and were all well cared for. Rebecca even grooms her dogs, and made sure Dave got a fresh bath before he came home with me. Maggie (Dave/Paddie’s mom) especially was a very fun and loving dog. You cannot go wrong with adopting a dog from Rebecca. As for Dave, he is fitting right in with my life and family with his playfulness, charm, kisses, and sass. He is a well loved pupper with an amazing side eye.
