I'm Terri L., the breeder behind Lavender's Stunning Standards located in Albany, NY. I offer gorgeous Standard Poodles from my loving home to yours. They are bred for their exceptional health, pedigree, and looks. Through creating an environment of serenity and care for our puppies, we know we are able to give each precious pup the very best chance to reach their potential, express their unique personality, and have a loving, well-rounded temperament.

Why did you start breeding?
My dogs are excellent representations of the breed, and I am proud to continue their line. I breed to both help ensure the future of the breed and to improve upon my dogs' fantastic traits with each generation. The fulfillment of seeing new puppies born, watching them grow, and helping shape them and train them in preparation for their new forever homes is the most rewarding experience ever!What makes your program special?
I hold myself to a high standard when it comes to my dogs and my policies. I am thorough in health testing and caring for my dogs, and I make sure each puppy gets the proper group and individual care that it needs to thrive. My goal is to ensure that every dog that comes from my program is set up to live a happy and healthy life and is prepared for its future role when it leaves my care.What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are standard size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
