Q. & A. with Carrie
Why did you start breeding?
After 3 years of research and studying, I decided to take the plunge after moving from TN to FL. I enjoy seeing how happy they are to run, play, and explore.
What makes your program special?
I give everything for my pups. They begin training at 2 days old and are wonderful companions when ready to go to new homes at 8 weeks old. I follow Puppy Culture to make sure our well tempered puppies become amazing dogs.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies include medium and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include cream, apricot, black, and phantom. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Just an example of the pups conditioning to loud noises. Cleaning the potty box and drying it with a leaf blower and no one is bothered at all, just happy pups with wagging tails.

We have been working on crate training this week. The puppies were introduced to crates without door with their beds moved inside. They instantly took to them! We also increased the pen size and today’s new toy is a slide! They are so fun, playful, adventurous, and fearless! I couldn’t be more proud of this litter 💜

Pups have more room to move around, play, sleep, eat and hopefully make it to the potty box! Tonight they got a new crinkle toy and we worked on desensitization to a vacuum. Not a single pup showed fear or anxiety. Yay!

Carrie was amazing from start to finish. She knows the breed and clearly loves her “job”. From our first conversation, I knew that our Sage was well trained and a perfect dog in every way. We exchanged emails and phone calls. She checked me out and gave me wonderful suggestions on food, treats, training, and grooming. I recommend Lazy Dayz Doodles wholeheartedly!
Health testing is one key piece of responsible breeding and is performed on breeding dogs to prevent the presence of heritable conditions in their puppies.
