I'm Carol C., the breeder behind LC Blue Great Danes located in Chicago, IL. We are Great Dane lovers through and through! Our dogs are such an important part of our lives, and we can’t imagine being without them. It’s an amazing experience as breeders to provide others with Great Dane puppies that we know will bring them the same joy!
Q. & A. with Carol
Why did you start breeding?
We began breeding Weimaraner's in 1991. We raised them as a family. We were happy to find our puppies new homes who became new friends. We got into Great Danes in 2010 as the kids got older and moved away. Joan is my 4th great Dane and she has such a loving personality and excellent confirmation. She just had her 2nd litter of puppies. The pups are exposed to adults, children and other dogs.
What makes your program special?
Joan, our AKC registered female & dam:
OFA tested for eyes normal, heart normal,
thyroid-normal, hips-good, elbows-normal,
patella=normal & ankle-normal. She is an
American Great Dane. Were hoping that since
she is a bit smaller that we will have the pleasure of her company longer. She is a true love bug!! Joan comes with exceptional confirmation. Joan is an AKC Canine Good Citizen.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are blue. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
