We focus on good dispositions, confirmation and health testing to ensure your puppy has the highest chance at a happy and healthy life! Q. & A. with Lindsey

  • Why did you start breeding?

My family bred and raised dogs since I was young for working ranch dogs. But I have had the privilege of working with many breeds over the years but I have fallen in love with golden retrievers for their versatility and especially as service dogs.
  • What makes your program special?

I truly work on not only giving our breeding dogs amazing everyday lives but also setting up our puppies in a way that will allow them to flourish in their homes. We focus on good genetics, confirmation and especially disposition so the puppies have the best chance at a long and healthy life.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies are dark golden. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Working with Lindsey was an amazing experience. She was very patient and responsive every step of the way. She had no problem answering any of our questions and providing tons of information and resources. We’ve only had our little girl home for a few hours and already know that she’s perfect for us. I would work with Lindsey again without a second thought; can’t recommend her enough!

We had a great experience working with Lindsey @ Legacy Ranch Golden Retrievers and would recommend this breeder to other families looking for a great dog! Lindsey was always very responsive as I thought of more questions regarding bringing a new puppy home and I appreciated her guidance as we were getting ready for our sweetheart! More importantly, Lindsey prepared the puppies for their new home by making sure they were well on their way with potty training and using a dog door, and I appreciated how organized she was with paperwork when we arrived to pick up Huckleberry (fka Howard). This was a great experience overall and we are very excited to have this little guy as part of our family! Thank you Lindsey!

Lindsey is great! She is so easy to communicate with and was very accommodating when setting up puppy visits and pick up. She made sure we had everything we needed to get our new puppy off to a good start!

Lindsey was very knowledgeable and clearly has a passion for breeding and raising dogs. Such a pleasure to work with her. She lives on a farm with other large animals and lots of space, so the puppy clearly had a lot of exposure to many things. I think my favorite part was that she has a doggy door for the puppies, so my puppy was ~80% potty trained at pick up. Everything was done properly and filed with American Kennel Club, which also gave me a good feeling about everything. She even had booklets for each new owner to take home.
