I'm Lindsey B., the breeder behind Legacy Ranch Golden Retrievers located in Parker, CO. We focus on good dispositions, confirmation and health testing to ensure your puppy has the highest chance at a happy and healthy life! We want our pups to thrive for long and healthy lives regardless if they are a working dog or a family companion!

Why did you start breeding?
My family bred and raised dogs since I was young for working ranch dogs. But I have had the privilege of working with many breeds over the years but I have fallen in love with golden retrievers for their versatility and especially as service dogs.What makes your program special?
I truly work on not only giving our breeding dogs amazing everyday lives but also setting up our puppies in a way that will allow them to flourish in their homes. We focus on good genetics, confirmation and especially disposition so the puppies have the best chance at a long and healthy life. We focus our program on producing puppies that will thrive in service work, and active companions.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are dark golden. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Getting a puppy from Lindsey
Lindsey has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.
Lindsey partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 8 weeks old.
“Puppies are matched with the family on the day of go-home by order of deposit. Families will be given a time to arrive and are allowed 45 minuets to pick their puppy from the available puppies at their time slot. Those needing service dogs will have priority. ”
Price
“Price includes contract for health guarantee, AKC or UKC limited registration, vet examination, 1st vaccination and dewormer and a toy. Discounts for veterans and first responders needing service dogs. A non refundable deposit to hold your place until puppy pick up day when you pick your puppy and take them home.”

This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. Litter update on 11 Sept •…Well the girls decided to have them on the same day though thankfully not at the same time. Maddi had hers super early Thursday morning and River had hers early evening Thursday night. Momma and pups are doing fantastic! For those on the wait list will put out an announcement for when I’m going to go down the list. It will likely be a week or two. We have a lot of munchkins to care for and we are going to put our full focus on mommas and the littles before we go down our lists!

Program update on 08 Sept •Both momma dogs are officially in nesting mode. We have a running bet they are both going to try to whelp the same day. For my sanity I hope not, but they are great mommas and I have eager hands waiting to help should they both decide the same day is the best day to have the littles!

About River
Miss River is a fantastic dog with lots of hunt drive. She naturally takes direction from the handler and is incredibly clear headed. She’s a snuggler too. She has a wonderful off switch that allows her to be out with us all day with the horses or working or skills and then come in and relax on the couch. Her puppies should be puppies that can go in any direction from wonderful companions to service and hunting dogs.

About Bubbles
Miss Bubbles is an absolute awesome dog. She’s incredibly human focused and is always the first to come seek me out when she’s running while we work horses. She settles right down in the house with a fantastic off switch and she’s incredibly good at puppy dog eyes to beg treats but never gets overbearing. She’s incredibly motivated by food which makes training a breeze. She has a medium toy drive and will retrieve happily.

About Ranger
Mr. Ranger is a fantastic gentleman. He has a high retrieval drive but a great off switch. He loves hanging out with us all day when we are working horses. He’s happy to play fetch and chase a rabbit that may cross his path. He’d make a fabulous hunting dog. He’s intelligent but kind hearted and a total bundle of love. He wines in happiness when he returns with his retrievals and he has the most expressive face. He brightens our day every single day. He is quick to learn new tasks and we know he’ll pass that on to his pups.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Vet Wellness Exam
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.

Awesome experience with Lindsey ant Legacy Ranch. She answered all of our questions and gave adequate time for us to choose our puppy. She genuinely cares for her dogs and litters. The updates were great and she as integrity that many breeders lack. The puppy is doing great! My only complaint is not about Legacy but it's about the fees charged by the Good Dog platform when you use a credit card for payment. I use a CC for protection on the back end and they seem to want to capitalize on it. I u destiny making a profit but in my opinion it was a steep charge.
