I'm Leslie E., the breeder behind Leslie Esmay's Maremma Sheepdogs located in Salinas, CA. I produce small-sized Maremma Sheepdogs that make loving family dogs and livestock guardians. I prioritize health, sound structure, and temperament. My goal is to produce a great representation of the Maremma and to breed to the original standard. My passion for this breed is poured into every aspect of my breeding program. I truly love my dogs and what I do.

Why did you start breeding?
I had my own Maremma Sheepdog and fell in love with the breed. I wanted to do my part as a responsible breeder and produce healthy, well-rounded pups. It has been an absolute joy of a journey, and I am so happy to be able to share these wonderful dogs with other loving families and individuals.What makes your program special?
I truly love the Maremma Sheepdog breed and am dedicated to looking out for the breed as a whole. I strive to breed healthy, well-tempered pups that can excel as working dogs and loving family dogs. I am very dedicated to what I do and what I am trying to achieve as a breeder. I work with passion, heart, and integrity, and I truly want what's best for my puppies and their forever families.Where do your breeding dogs live?
