Meet the breeder

I'm Heather M., the breeder behind Let's keep it frenchie! located in Wichita, KS. We're excited to provide families with the joy that we experience everyday from our furr babies. Frenchbulldogs are highly intelligent, with clown like personalities. Their playful sense of humor make it easy to fall in love. They love toys, giving kisses and cuddling with the kiddos on movie night.

Q. & A. with Heather

  • Why did you start breeding?

My parents bred Liberian huskies when I was a child and then I began breeding at the age of 21 and haven't looked back. My live for animals and teaching have gotten me to where I am with my breeding program. The puppies we send home are well socialized with other animals and children. They come playful and loving for their new families to cherish and enjoy.
  • What makes your program special?

What makes our program special is that it is small and all the parents are kept inside, wonder around are house freely and are well socialized with are children. We have children ages 4 -12 and they spend a lot of time with are canines and their babies. We strive to breed healthy, compact, well tempered dogs and we fix as well as pet home any adult dogs who do not meet this criteria.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include cream, tricolors, liver, black and white, and blue. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Heather partners with them to find the best puppy match.

“The best way I know how to match each of my puppies to the right family is to ask the best questions I can each family looking. I need to get an understanding for what your family is looking for and I can match you with the best puppy personality that fits. One thing I love about being a breeder is getting to understand and help develop each personality of each of my puppies. I try my best to sit here and pay attention to each other unique qualities. I am also very openly honest with the pros and cons of each of my puppies. I would prefer each puppy to find their forever home with a person that loves all of them not just certain qualities they have. I treat my puppies like my children, and I definitely wouldn’t want my children going to a home with somebody who didn’t fully understand who they were.”
