Meet the breeder

I'm Kerri C., the breeder behind LHA Golden Retrievers located in Garretts Mill, MD. We raise Golden Retrievers because of their loyalty, eagerness to please, intelligence, and drive to work. Our goldens are first and foremost our family members, our companions, and they live in our home with us. We began with one girl who quickly stole our hearts and was a wonderful playmate to our children. We have a passion for raising healthy, happy pups that have a great start in life surrounded by a family that loves them. We work with them right away for early training and socialization to prepare them for their forever homes. We are located in beautiful central Maryland in the Appalachian mountains.

Q. & A. with Kerri

  • Why did you start breeding?

Our whole family is involved in our Goldens. We started out with a Golden for our family because we wanted a friendly companion for our children to grow along side. We enjoy working with our dogs and love how versatile the breed is. We find great joy in helping our puppies get a head start on socializing and training!
  • What makes your program special?

Our dogs are health tested and trained for jobs according to their individual strengths. We have carefully selected our dogs from lines with longevity, a history of passing health clearances, and adherence to the golden retriever standard. We utilize the Puppy Culture program to socialize and train our puppies in order to give them a great start before going home to their new families.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
