Amber E.

Breeder of Siberian Huskies

Meet the breeder

I'm Amber E., the breeder behind Light Foot Kennel located in Buffalo, MN. Light Foot Kennel is home to registered Siberian Huskies & Seppala Siberian Sleddogs; where our focus is sprint and mid-distance mushing. Amber (kennel owner) has been raising, running, and breeding huskies for the past 20+ years and is dedicated to the well-being of each dog in their kennel; whether it be training, health/genetics, or understanding more about each dog individually. We believe in dogs that are hard workers in harness, have friendly & gentle temperaments, and conform to the breed standard. We are privileged to have these incredible dogs as part of our family.

Q. & A. with Amber

  • What makes your program special?

We care about the well-being of each of our dogs and the litters they produce. Our dogs are working athletes and are trained for mushing as that is what Siberians were originally bred for. We strive for quality and want to extend that to our buyers.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include brown and white, black tan and white, sable and white, red and white, gray and white, black and white, agouti and white, white, and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and a kennel on my property.
