I'm Sandy A., the breeder behind Lila's Teddybear Goldendoodles located in Summerfield, NC. Our Goldendoodles are low-shedding dogs which are great for individuals with allergies. While no dog is entirely non-shedding, Goldendoodles shed less due to their coat types. We raise our puppies in our home and do so with patience, love, and positive reinforcement.
Q. & A. with Sandy
Why did you start breeding?
When our children were young, we discovered that they had pet allergies. So when we added our next furry friend to our family, we adopted a standard Poodle because Poodles are hypoallergenic. Beau is goofy, fun, and energetic! Then we learned about Goldendoodles and how they are also hypoallergenic. We brought home our first Goldendoodle, Lila, in 2021. She is smart, affectionate, and athletic. She had her first litter in 2024, and we kept two of her puppies. Now, we are hooked on Goldendoodles!
What makes your program special?
Parents are health and genetic tested. Puppies are raised in our home. Microchipped. CKC registration. Health guarantee. Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) exercises. Sound stimulation training. Early potty training with Little Wolves potty trays. Introduction to crates. Provide new experiences and puppy challenges with tunnels, toys, and uneven and multilevel surfaces. Introduction to water play.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are medium size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include cream, apricot, red, and parti. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and guardian homes.
