I'm Cass L., the breeder behind Linder Labradoodles located in Pueblo, CO. We are hobby breeders of Labradoodles, Bernedoodles, and Standard Poodles. All of our puppies are members of our family; they are home-raised, and carefully bred to create litters of healthy puppies with great temperaments.
Q. & A. with Cass
Why did you start breeding?
We began breeding in 1989 when we found there was a 7 year wait list for a service dog, due to trouble finding high-quality breeders with dogs of the right temperament. In response, we decided to carry on our families' history and breed dogs (our parents had bred great quality dogs). We began breeding and gave the service dog industry first picks in our litters, and then began to get the rest of our siblings involved in order to provide as many puppies as possible. These days, the service dog industry is now raising most of their own service dogs, and we are focused on finding great homes for our high-quality puppies!
What makes your program special?
Our dogs are our family members first and foremost, and all of our puppies are raised in our homes as part of our families. Our family members work in Health Care, Quality, and Regulatory, so health and quality are ingrained in the way we manage our breeding program. Our families carefully select their breeding dogs based on health, temperament, conformation, and intelligence to produce the highest quality puppies possible. As breeders, our families continue to strive to meet the goals and standards set for these cross breeds as they develop.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our Bernedoodle puppies are standard size. Labradoodle puppies include medium and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
