I'm Danielle S., the breeder behind Lingo Standard Poodles located in Nederland, TX. We strive to breed healthy standard Poodles to the AKC standard. They make the best family companions AND can excel in the show ring! Our mission is to improve the breed through selective breeding and ample health testing.   • Why did you start breeding?

    I acquired my first Standard Poodle, Lingo, in 2019. I was hooked and knew this was the breed for me. I was looking for a biddable, smart, loyal and non-shedding dog. I've always had a dream of continuing on a successful breeding program so that other pet owners could have a healthy and sound member of the family. I wish to produce a family's next "heart dog".

  • What makes your program special?

    I feel what makes my breeding program special is focusing on producing puppies for the average family. I want a very versatile poodle between 40-60lbs sound temperament, structure and health. I breed to the AKC Standard for poodles. I want my puppies to be with their families forever and help owners with any obstacles they may encounter.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies are standard size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include black, blue, silver, and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Danielle

Danielle has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $2,500 - $3,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

"Puppies are registered with AKC, have their tails docked, the first and second rounds of puppy shots, worming, and socialization in our home. Puppies will be trained to use a dog door and will start working on crate training prior to going to their new homes. Deposit to reserve your puppy is non-refundable. Full payment is required prior to puppy being released to new home. Deposits can be transferred to different litter."

  • Hip Dysplasia , Hip Dysplasia (Preliminary)

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)

    Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

  • Thyroid (Autoimmune Thyroiditis, registered with OFA)

    A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.

  • PRA, Rod-Cone Degeneration (PRA-prcd), Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A), Animal Genetics Panel

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
