Lionheart Cane Corso

Ashley F.

Breeder of Cane Corso

Meet the breeder

I'm Ashley F., the breeder behind Lionheart Cane Corso located in Cameron Park, CA. We are extremely selective about which dogs we allow in our breeding program. We insist on a stable temperament and correct structure, in essence, a quality Cane Corso of sound mind and body.

Q. & A. with Ashley

  • Why did you start breeding?

I’ve had dogs all my life and use to show horses when I was younger. Originally I just wanted a loving companion/guardian breed for my family. I started showing and got hooked and the rest is history.
  • What makes your program special?

We are not a huge commercial kennel and our Corso’s live in our home as part of the family. We are active in the conformation show ring, compete in obedience and rally, and most importantly we put a large emphasis on the health of our Corso both mentally and physically before they are considered to be breed worthy. We will only breed dogs that are fully health tested by either Penn Hip or OFA.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
