The Hundred Acre Wood is almost 7 Weeks Old! Here they are off on their first expedition. They are brave and sweet as honey. To our Leo families~keep an eye out for a video of their adventure… "Oh! Piglet," said Pooh excitedly, "we're going on an Expotition, all of us, with things to eat. To discover something." "To discover what?" said Piglet anxiously. "Oh! just something." "Nothing fierce?" "Christopher Robin didn't say anything about fierce. He just said it had an 'x'." "It isn't their necks I mind," said Piglet earnestly. "It's their teeth. But if Christopher Robin is coming I don't mind anything." In a little while they were all ready at the top of the Forest, and the Expotition started. ~ IN WHICH CHRISTOPHER ROBIN LEADS AN EXPOTITION TO THE NORTH POLE

Puppies are 5 Weeks Old!!! Wow! What a fast five weeks! The puppies are all thriving and we are SO excited to venture out for our first car ride this week as well as our first adventure walk! They enjoyed their first experience outside yesterday and despite the novelty of everything the great outdoors would provide, they were still most interested in playing in their water bowl…total Leonbergers! There is a good mix of puppies favoring Mobi and Cozy in regards to their appearances as well as their personalities. We can’t wait to discover more about them in the last few weeks here! Sound socialization is in full swing now…my 12 year old son has definitely caught on to the vision, and I find him frequently sitting in the middle of the playpen going through his own personal puppy socialization sound list that he has prioritized for the puppies (cars and motorcycles, sheep and hyenas, with a sprinkling of Will Ferrell impersonations 🤪). Busy days, but good ones. We are so thankful for this precious bunch and for the lovely homes that are being so carefully prepared for them!

We are one week old!!! While we may not look like Leonbergers yet, we can’t tell, because we can’t see yet…or hear for that matter. But we are learning all the things with new scent introductions daily and being held in all different positions as we learn to experience small stressors and then quickly go back to mom for all the pampering. We are learning to move pretty quickly across the whelping box to find her. Nothing differentiates us much yet, other than our weight, which is taken twice daily. Some of us take after Mobi, and we have little patches of white on our chest and the tips of our toes. They tried to take our pictures, but we were more interested in trying to find our way back to mom than we were in sitting still. They had the intention of posting individual pictures of us, but we were told that some of us are not super photogenic yet, so they decided not to post pictures of each of us. We thought that was a little rude.

Meet the Parents! We wanted to officially invite everyone who has expressed interest in our program to hang out with us on May 24th at Rec Park, in Galena Illinois at 10:00am for coffee and donuts and LEONBERGERS! We would love to meet you in person and give you the opportunity to meet Cozy and Mobi (and our other sweet Leo girl, Constance!), and answer any questions regarding anything from obedience training to grooming, from socialization to puppy manners. If there is one thing we love it is sharing our Leonbergers and our love for the breed (and coffee!). Rec Park is right at the entrance of the beautiful town of Galena that will just be starting a bustling day of tourism…but you will already have your parking spot if you start the day with us;0) We will be hanging out from 10:00-11:00am. Side note: Just a few of our favorite things to do in Galena. Walk the beautiful streets of downtown and enjoy everything from shopping to history to good coffee (because, of course, who doesn’t need more coffee!). We highly recommend The Wired-Rabbit which is just around the corner from Rec Park. If you are looking to take up on Galena’s adventurous side, renting a canoe downtown and enjoying the Galena river has been one of families favorite things to do, topping it off with one of the adorable ice cream parlors in the heart of Galena. We love our town (and Leonbergers🤗). ✨Mobi this morning✨

About Mobi
CH Let Me Blow Your Mind Ginger Heaven. His name says it all. I’m not sure if we get more pleasure in wrapping our arms around his massive neck, or watching him move across the fields with grace. He has blown both our minds and the minds of the judges in the show ring.

Aubrey with Lionsview chalet did a wonderful job through the whole process of setting us up with the Leo our family was looking for. Her communication with weekly tips, quick responses, videos and updates on the litter made it so we never felt out of the loop with our first breeder experience. I would recommend anyone looking for a Leo to work with Aubrey.

We recently welcomed a puppy into our family from Lionsview Chalet, and we can’t say enough about the incredible experience we had. From start to finish, the Fogles exemplified what it means to be dedicated, professional, and truly passionate about raising healthy, well-adjusted puppies. The moment we met our puppy, it was clear they were exceptionally prepared for their forever home. They were confident, social, and already showing signs of basic training, which made the transition into our household seamless. The breeder’s commitment to early socialization and care was evident—our pup was comfortable with people, other animals, and new environments right from the start. Aubrey was a joy to work with. She was transparent, communicative, and genuinely invested in ensuring their puppies went to loving homes. She provided us with a comprehensive puppy packet, health records, vaccination details, and helpful tips for care and training for a Leonberger. It was clear she has put immense thought and effort into raising these puppies, from their high-quality diet to their clean, stimulating environment. The breeder’s knowledge and ethical practices stood out. They screened us thoroughly to ensure we were a good fit, which we appreciated as it showed their commitment to their puppies’ futures. They also offered ongoing support, encouraging us to reach out with any questions as our puppy grows. Our puppy is thriving—healthy, happy, and full of personality. We’re so grateful to everyone at Lionsview Chalet for raising such a wonderful companion and for making the entire process a delight. If you’re looking for a breeder who goes above and beyond, we wholeheartedly recommend the Fogles. They’re truly exceptional!
