Meet the breeder

I'm Valerie and T., the breeder behind Little Fur Friends located in Wharton, TX. Thank you for your interest in our puppies! We are so glad you found us. The decision to purchase a puppy is an exciting process. We hope you will take a few minutes to learn more about our program!

Q. & A. with Valerie and

  • Why did you start breeding?

We started Little Fur Friends in 2008, originally raising small poodle mixes and eventually evolving into the doodles we know and love today. Our first goldendoodle litter was in 2015, and we were hooked! As the saying goes, the rest is history. We’ve both had dogs our whole lives and couldn’t imagine life without them. They are family members and the most loyal “little fur friends” you can find.
  • What makes your program special?

Our breeding dogs are raised in a family environment with lots of love and attention. They live here with us in our home or with one of our amazing guardian families. We strive to choose dogs with even temperaments that are suited to lives with families, children and other pets. Health is very important to us, all of our dogs are OFA & genetic health tested prior to breeding.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our Sheepadoodle puppies include miniature, medium, and standard sizes. Goldendoodle puppies include petite, miniature, and medium sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our Sheepadoodle puppies include blue gray and white and black and white. Goldendoodle puppies include cream, apricot, and red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and guardian homes.
