I'm Gail G., the breeder behind Little Gall Reds located in Vacaville, CA. We recommend you commit to training your poodle. Smart dogs need to be mentally engaged with training. Walks and exercise are great, and they need to learn. We are committed to providing owners with a healthy, happy dog that will absolutely become a special part of your family.

Why did you start breeding?
Began breeding Yorkies in 1999. Had our first Poodle litter in 2023.
What makes your program special?
Our puppies are part of our family from day one. We provide them with appropriate stimulation, and much love and attention. We own both parents so they are surrounded by and learn from the other dogs. By 6 weeks they are already well into potty training and becoming familiar with our back yard. We provide first vaccinations and vet wellness checks prior to going to their forever families.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Gail

Gail has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,700 - $2,200 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“The price includes AKC registration, first vaccination with vaccination record and vet health check, AKC Welcome Home Puppy Resource packet, microchip, and sample of food. All puppies are the same price regardless of size or color.”

Contract & health guarantee

Gail may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. If Gail offers a contract or guarantee, the details will be personalized by them. If you have any questions or want to know more, don't hesitate to reach out to Gail directly.

Good level

Little Gall Reds reports to performing the health tests below on their breeding dogs. Ask your breeder about the tests performed on the parents of your litter. Learn more about health testing for Miniature Poodles.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
Vet Wellness Exam
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
