Meet the breeder

I'm Liz K., the breeder behind Little Pond Bulldogs located in Ohio. I have been a veterinarian technician and have spent many years breeding, showing and exhibiting bulldogs with my husband, Dan. We are also proud members of the Bulldog Club of America.

Q. & A. with Liz

  • Why did you start breeding?

I inherited a great love of animals from my father. I purchased my first Bulldog in 1969, and although she was not a showgirl, she set the ‘hook’ that started me on this wonderful journey with Bulldogs. That girl, Buttershine Baby, became our first show champion and the foundation for all of our LittlePond Kennel breeding which includes 97 bred by champions to date.
  • What makes your program special?

Some of the most notable being multiple best in specialty show winners and Bulldog Club of America Hall of Fame reproducers; Ch LittlePond’s Splash, Ch LittlePond’s Chief, Ch LittlePond’s Leroy, Ch Helfyre LittlePond’s Promise - the top best in specialty winning Bulldog of all time, and Ch Helfrye Warmvalley Sixspence, a Bulldog Club of America National Specialty Best Opposite Sex winner. We also owned and exhibited Ch LittlePond’s Osage Ollie who was the 1997 BCA National Specialty Show winner.
