Meet the breeder

I'm Sharon M., the breeder behind Little Red Poodles located in Hiram, GA. We adore our dogs! They’ve enriched our lives in ways we never imagined, and we are so happy to be able to share the wonderful qualities of the breed with others. Owning a poodle is a beautiful experience, and it would be our honor to connect you with the best new addition to your family possible.

Q. & A. with Sharon

  • Why did you start breeding?

Josh's grandfather had a sweet toy poodle when he was a kid and he fell in love with the breed. A few years ago, we got our first little red poodle and our joy has grown exponentially ever since! We learn something new all of the time and appreciate the experience so very much.
  • What makes your program special?

We want to improve the breed by keeping the genetics very pure and clean. We test extensively with Pawprint and make sure our dogs are healthy and the dams are bred only when they are old enough but not too old to be able to handle motherhood. We look for traits such as genetics, bone structure, eyes, color, hair quality, bite, and so forth. Breeding isn't number one, it's the love of the dog!
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our puppies include toy and miniature sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include apricot and red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
