I'm Brooke V., the breeder behind Living The Golden Life located in Payson, UT. Molly & Duke have been certified through the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA) with passing scores on their hips (good), elbows, eyes and heart (normal). They have also been health & DNA tested through Embark. These pups are ideal for sports, hunting, adventures or simply being a family dog.
Q. & A. with Brooke
Why did you start breeding?
Breeding Molly was always the end goal for me when I first brought her home — along with having her as a loving member of our family of course. It sounds cliche but watching Air Buddies actually made me excited to raise little golden nuggets myself one day and pass these sweet loving babies onto future families to love and enjoy.
What makes your program special?
I strive to provide high quality pups at an affordable price for families. Not everyone can afford a healthy dog at the rates a lot of breeders sell for ($2500+) and so I strive keep my prices low ($1750 average) to help accommodate families who can’t necessarily pay an arm and a leg upfront. Also this allows families to allocate funds to their dog’s maintenance— vaccinations, toys, food, etc.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include dark golden and golden. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

About Molly
Molly is such a happy and friendly dog to any person she comes into contact with. She loves to play fetch as well as swim. When she comes into contact with other dogs, she gets down on their level to help show them that she is not of any threat and just wants to play. She’s great on leash and off. She comes whenever she is called and overall likes to stay near her family when we’re on outings.

Brooke is FABULOUS. She is so kind, attentive and truly loves the puppies she is helping bring into the world. Molly (pepperonis mama) is the center of her furry universe. I can wholeheartedly say, I am so happy with meeting Brooke and getting my furry baby from her! 🫶🏻
Health testing is one key piece of responsible breeding and is performed on breeding dogs to prevent the presence of heritable conditions in their puppies.
