  • Why did you start breeding?

    I got into breeding after developing a love for toy poodles through my own pets. Inspired by their intelligence, loyalty, and elegance, I wanted to contribute to the breed’s future by focusing on producing healthy, well-tempered, and beautiful dogs. This passion led to the creation of Lixira Poodles, a name reflecting the sharp, bold, and elegant vision for my program.

By carefully selecting breeding pairs, my program produces poodles that are beautiful, intelligent, and well-tempered. With a personalized approach, I prioritize the well-being of both puppies and their future families, ensuring a breeding program known for distinction, care, and excellence.

    Our puppies are toy size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include sable, apricot, black, brown, white, parti, and phantom. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Shae

Shae has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Shae partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Puppy prices include a $550 non-refundable deposit and between $1,750 - $3,950 final payment, before taxes & fees.

Shae may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.   • Chondrodystrophy and IVDD Risk (CDDY-IVDD), Severe Combined Immunodeficiency Disease, X-Linked (XSCID), Corgi Type, Trapped Neutrophil Syndrome, Cohen Syndrome (TNS), von Willebrand Disease III (vWD III), Scottish Terrier Type, P2RY12 Receptor Platelet Disorder, Multiple Drug Sensitivity (MDR1)

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

    Shae was a delight to work with. She responds very quickly and answered all of my questions efficiently. She is very knowledgeable and caring… easy to talk to.     Shae is very pleasant to work with and once I selected a puppy she was great at keeping me posted on growth and development. She answered any messages I sent her very promptly and I really appreciated the weekly pictures she sent me. The pics of the puppy parents that were posted on her site showed two happy and healthy dogs. On pick-up day I got to see the parents in person and they were just as pictured. Shae provided me with an information packet and went over all the details with me. The starter pack she provided was practical, but also included some personal touches. From the moment I met Shae in person I knew my puppy had been born into a loving home environment. My puppy is healthy, happy, and full of personality, so if you are in the process of looking for a breeder for a toy poodle you can’t go wrong with Lixira Poodles.

    We are SO happy with our puppy from Lixira Poodles! Shae was so kind and helpful throughout the whole process. She is a sweet person who truly loves her poodles. Our new puppy has adjusted so quickly and is already using the potty outside, did great with being quiet and content overnight, and is curious and inquisitive. She loves our other dog already and our kids. Her temperament is calm but playful, which is perfect for our family. Shae is so informed about all things related to poodle pups and she was wonderful to work with. She explained everything to us in detail when we picked up our puppy and sent us home with a fabulous care package for the puppy, lots of information for us and records for the vet. I can't recommend Shae and her poodles enough!
