Q. & A. with Melody
Why did you start breeding?
I am a dog and horse enthusiast. I have loved dogs my whole life and decided to get into breeding after meeting my Labrador retriever. He was unique and kind and I thought what a joy it would be to pass that along to other people. My hope is to enrich other people’s lives and one day train service animals full time.
What makes your program special?
We not only focus on having healthy, happy pups but well trained pups. We begin their basic training early. As soon as possible. We work to make their transition into their new homes go as smoothly as possible and provide continued support. Every new puppy parent gets a welcome package with information about their pup, their parents, what to expect in the weeks and months to come.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are standard size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black, brown, white, and parti. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
