Meet the breeder
I'm Elizabeth B., the breeder behind Loblolly Moon Farm located in Mechanicsville, VA. We offer health-tested multigen bernedoodles, both mini and medium. We are a homesteading, homeschooling family with a small hobby farm outside of Richmond, VA. Our dogs are bred for their excellent temperaments and health. We prefer a stockier build, more reminiscent of the Bernese Mountain Dog, but appreciate the furnished doodle coat.

Getting a puppy from Elizabeth
Elizabeth has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
After buyers complete the application and screening process, Elizabeth partners with them to find the best puppy match.
"My greatest area of concern is owners' work schedules. These dogs make lovely, engaged companion animals, but don't do well in situations where they are regularly left alone for 8-10 hours a day while family is at work or school. They do best with people working from home, retired persons, caregivers, or traveling to work with their owners. That's not to say that they can never be left alone -- of course not! But, to leave them alone all day, every day, can cause separation anxiety when you are gone and clinginess when you return. Aside from that, they are biddable, eager to please, and a joy to train - even for an inspired beginner. "

DNA Disease Panel, Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1B), Bernese Mountain Dog Type, Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A), PRA, Rod-Cone Degeneration (PRA-prcd), von Willebrand Disease I (vWD I)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
