Q. & A. with Megan

  • Why did you start breeding?

I have helped my mother breed and show healthy, quality boxers for the past 20+ years. I decided to branch out and start working with my own breed. I have been breeding papillons for going on 6 years.
  • What makes your program special?

I do genetic DNA testing on all my breeders to make sure they are clear of common health ailments in papillons such as NAD and PRA.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Megan at Longwing Kennel was such a joy. You can tell she really cares for her pups. She was always willing to give advice and provide updates and photos. I appreciate her staying in contact and working with me. I’m very happy to have gotten my fur baby from Longwing. He’s super sweet and well adjusted and fits right in with his older brothers!

Megan takes very good care of her puppies and is very knowledgeable on the Pappilon Breed. We were able to visit our puppy before she was ready to come home with us and Megan kept us updated with photos videos and progress and personality of our puppy. She takes very good care of her Pappilons and their babies. We are absolutely in Love with our little female Lizzy and would highly recommend Megan and Longwing Kennel
