I'm Christian L., the breeder behind Loseke Family Retrievers located in Grand Island, NE. Started by working with my stud dog, now we own both sire and dam. Lots of combined experience into rearing whelping puppies from mentors and family. Willing to go the extra mile and help train and keep in touch with all my puppies from over the years. Our pups stay inside a whelping box we build and painted inside our garage. The garage is heated and cooled to accommodate Mom and the puppies. Our puppies have been litter trained and we are working with them as their bladder's develop to take trips outside to our fenced yard for potty breaks. Regular bedding changes and cleaning being done to them and their living enviornment. Early neurological stimulation every day, and other socalization techniques being performed with each puppy and playing all hours of the day to prepare them for new homes. Introducting to new scents, sounds, surfaces, etc.

We all go outside after meals to learn to go potty on the grass. Puppies were extremely full so its also time for a nap!

Puppies are loving their first steps towards eating solid food!

We are happy to know a family friend already knows their pick from the litter! They want our biggest boy, River! Time to start learning his name. We hope to teach some name recognition with all of our puppies as they are chosen from our beautiful litter.

Taking a break from the whelping box; laying on the cool concrete, everybody's napping. Except Miss Green decided to steal mom's toy, she seems to love playing with tennis balls haha!

Golden Retriever
About Kiley
Kiley the dam also comes from great healthy heritage. The sweeter of my two, but both parents are very mild and calm. She is an aggressive cuddler and will quietly let you know she wants attention by pawing and pushing on you. Great retriever and proving to be an excellent momma.

Golden Retriever
About Benny
Benny is the father to many successful litters. He was raised with me originally in a small cabin, so he loves the lake... but all his puppies love swimming. Very calm and mild mannered, but he can get high strung when playing. Benny comes from long lines of titled show dogs. OFA tests and other health certs. His oldest sired litter is now 5 years old, zero health issues.
